If you have a virus checker on Windows I'd guess about double that, as
every temporary file emitted by the build has to be checked.  If you have a
multi-core machine that will probably help (a colleague got one primarily to
stop the virus checker getting in way), though a compilation will probably
make good use of multicores anyway.
