I admit I was going on second-hand info there - serves me right for
pronouncing on the issue without checking the standard first.

I do see an awful lot of code around that abuses the leading underscore
namespace - and I'm not accusing UnixLib here. I can only assume lots of
people see them used in compiler header files and think it makes them look
clever to copy the style. :(
