Hallo All,
I recently got ROS 5.28 running on the RPi4 and found that GNUPLOT
didn't run on the new hardware (Illegal Instruction). So I decided to
recompile with the latest compiler. The compilation failed because
dependency LibPNG12-0 didn't compile. After failing to get GNUPLOT to
compile with LibPNG16-16 I took a look at LibPNG12-0.
In the file "setvars" from LibPNG12-0 I added at line 1:
AB_URL=https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/libpng/libpng12/older-releases/1.2.54/libpng-1.2.54.tar.bz2
This was enough to compile the library and then GNUPLOT which now works
on the RPi4 hardware.
Perhaps someone can update the "setvars" file for LibPNG12-0.
