So far it has been okay. I did BTEC ICT (Di*) at secondary school and my sixth form only offers BTEC ICT (next level up), so I travel to another school to do A Level Computer Science. There are a variety of programming languages that can be used for the course, including Delphi, Java, C family languages and Visual Basic - my school uses Visual Basic. So far, I'd say go for it, it could definitely be advantageous when it comes to getting a job in the tech field in the future. Hope that helps.
