We tell students to mark their tasks as Ready for Review when you have a 
question, even if you’re not done.

It’s often not at all apparently to mentors when you simply post a question as 
a comment because there are dozens or hundreds of messages per day.  If you 
mark it as ready for review, it will get someone’s attention and your question 
will be answered.  Marking it ready for review also stops the clock so you 
don’t have to get time added later.
