Hi Camm, I have tried to compile Axiom with GCL-2.7.0 (cvs HEAD) checked out yesterday. I know that in the past you have successfully compiled axiom with the work in progress GCL. So my questions are did you modify some of the source of Axiom ? And did you use the ANSI build ?
My attempt stop with this message (non-ansi build) : Loading /usr/local/axiom/obj/linux/boot/boothdr.o Error: The package named BOOTTRAN, does not exist Fast links are on: do (si::use-fast-links nil) for debugging Error signalled by LAMBDA-CLOSURE. Broken at SYSTEM:UNIVERSAL-ERROR-HANDLER. Type :H for Help. In fact it loads all compiled file to create bootsys. So, is there some known issues with '*-package' in CVS ? Or, did you encounter the same problem? If you have any hint I would be glad to know them. PS: I admit that I don't give enough information to help you... Forget this email if it's "obscure". _______________________________________________ Gcl-devel mailing list Gcl-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gcl-devel
