Greetings, and thanks for your input! It would probably be a good idea to eventually get libffi (sp?) support, but I think this is a bit further down on the priority list at the moment, if that is OK with you.
OK, I guess, although I don't understand what libffi has to do with it. Let me try to be clearer. I am hoping to write stuff like (defun foo (&rest x) "some kind of computation on x here") and then call foo with many arguments. Perhaps I've misunderstood what this whole discussion is about; certainly wouldn't surprise me. It's a low priority item at any rate. All the best & thanks so much for your dedication to GCL.
