Using GCL 2.7.0-64.1 from debian i386, my TMP variable is /tmp/fare, which names a directory /tmp/fare/ but sometimes, GCL creates files like /tmp/faregazonk_31056_NdkYpW.lsp instead of the expected /tmp/fare/gazonk_31056_NdkYpW.lsp I think this is a slight bug in GCL, although not a big one. I work around it in cl-launch by ensuring that system::*tmp-dir* ends with a / Please tell me when you make this workaround obsolete.
