Hi -- Is GCL 2.6.7 or 2.6.8pre intended to work on an Intel Mac running OS X (specifically, 10.6.3)? I tried macports and the 2.6.7 build failed, and I tried going to http://www.gnu.org/software/gcl/, but the link [Get Latest Release] was broken. I tried the following from http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/moore/acl2/current/installation/requirements.html#gcl-mac, but it broke with "/bin/sh: /bin/gcl: Permission denied".
export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonym...@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/sources/gcl cvs -z9 -q co -d gcl-2.6.8pre -r Version_2_6_8pre gcl ./configure make It's not so critical that GCL be available for my Mac, but if that can be done and I know how, then I'll fix the instructions on the above web site.
