ok. i see. so the link element is only a way for the owner of the page
to advertise its own unAPI server. but the unAPI client may know of
others.
what i was looking for was a way for the owner of the page to
incorporate knowledge about other unAPI servers. although i have to
admit that i have no particular use case in mind.
