I tried the command you suggested, but it returns this error
Unable to open datasource 'C:\DATA\2013\08\osm2\australia-latest.osm.pbf lines'
with the following drivers.
...
So, appending the word lines to the name of the datasource fails to tell
ogr2ogr to translate just the lines. Is there a different argument to
accomplish this?
