Where exactly did you tried this command?
I tried it as normal file which opens fine in Geany (on Windows 7,
using Geany 0.19.1) and also as 'grep' command in Geany's preferences
dialog, Tools tab.
I didn't quote anything special, just inserted the command as it is.
