I am running Geany .2 on Ubuntu 11.10.
I have followed these suggested steps to the letter:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/68507/problems-with-using-themes-in-geany
But when I select a Color under View -> Editor -> Color nothing happens.
If I close Geany and reopen it has set back to Default.
If you're using Geany 0.20, the `deprecated` branch might still work.
If you're using Geany 0.21 (latest release), the `master` branch should
work.
If you're building Geany from Git, all you need is the `.conf` files
from the `colorschemes` directory.
If you're using Geany 0.21 and the instructions in the README file
aren't working, let me know. I don't recommend using 0.20 and the
`deprecated` branch. Make sure you don't have old files mixed with new
ones, so clean out the `~/.config/geany/colorschemes` and
`~/.config/geany/colorschemes` and try installing the `master` branch
again once you've got Geany 0.21 installed.
