Newer version of Gears is not just building a newer deb. A new port must be
done on
top of trunk Gears. From what I hear this should be pretty easy job with
the latest
MicroB codebase that uses the same codebase as Gears targeting FF3.
I don't know if anybody is working on this. Currently I cannot spare time
myself,
maybe a bit later if nobody else signs up..
