What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the latest Gears release (tested up to 0.4.17.0) on IE6 or IE7
2. Install Yahoo Toolbar for IE
3. Run the Gears HttpRequest unittests.
IE crashes with the following callstack. The last trace statement when
using a debug version of gears is "IEHttpRequest::OnStopBinding". It
appears that an object attempts to be released an extra time.
