aukebruinsma seems to find the solution.
With firefox 3.0.1 on Mandriva 2009.0 beta2 (gears 0.4.15.0), I also use
google docs
in us english in a french environment. I change the langage to us english
(with
mandriva configurator, for the whole session), and the synchronisation and
offline
activation worked fine.
When I come back to french environment, the problem of authentication
appears again.
I can't tell if the problem would be solved with google docs in french:
gears isn't
supported with this language.
