To clarify, this occurs only when the URL _just_ fits in the space
available in the
dialog when the screen is in portrait mode. The problem is that when the
dialog is
first rendered in portrait mode, the URL is wrapped onto two lines.
Switching to
landscape mode and back again, (or initiating the dialog in landscape mode
and then
switching to portrait mode) rectifies the problem.
This is a rendering bug in PIE, so isn't a Gears issue and can't be fixed.
