Hy! Gears seems to be a unfinished web-paradigm. The first webbrowser ( see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WorldWideWeb ) incorporated also local editing and ftp 4 publishing. Having offline DB & server (Gears) we coud revivle the first philosophy of www but with modern means & technology, that of direct collaboration, if we coud have a ftp within Gears. That would have a HUGE impact on personal web-pages-sphere behaviour. We could not only save offline the data, but also send online our "remake/editing" somehow (if we have the ftp/sftp etc password), independent of SERVERSCRIPTS! Possibilities are endless. It is not about some addon to Gears, it's about "close the circle" in the web- paradigm. For an answer, I would be happy,
