New issue 855 by railaliev: System wide install doesn't create user dirs on
Firefox

1. Get the xpi of gears
2. unzip it to the system wide extensions directory. In my case I use
unzip gears-linux-opt.xpi -d
/usr/lib/firefox-addons/extensions/<gears-em-id>
3. Run firefox
Gears is not listed in add-ons list. <FF-user-profile>/Gears for Firefox is
not created.
Platform: Linux 32 bit.
Work around: install Gears from Firefox. Remove it from Firefox. In this
case all needed directories and files are created during install or first
run. After this operation you can use system wide installed version.
Gears should create all needed directories and files during the first run
even if Gears is installed system wide.
