I have a G1 phone with T-Mobile service, right here in Mountain View. It periodically (more often than I like) gives me this error about "Network provider at http://www.google.com/loc/json did not provide a good position fix".
I've seen that this has been complained-about before but my questions are: 1) is this T-Mobile's fault? it's odd that it works sometimes from the same place (my office desk) 2) is there any software upgrade for the G1 that would make it better? 3) is there a schedule for making this better sometime in the future?
