New issue 922 by JHindley: reader with Safari not downloading unread items

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I click to download items when I have say 700+ unread and after
downloading I have less than
half
2. resynchronize and it goes back up to 700+
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like to see all unread up to the 2000 I am supposed to
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Safari 4.0.1 and gears 0.5.29
