New issue 930 by pquodling: Gears with FF 3.5.1 on a mac running leopard.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install FF 3.5.1
2. De install Gears (and all other addons) install the special gearsffosx35
version
3. try to log into gmail.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expect to log into Gmail. - fails - just get done at the bottom.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
Going to the ff tooblar "tools" and selecting Gears settings, it still says
that I am running
0.5.25.0 of gears, even though the indication is that the "new special
version" should report itself
as 0.5.27.0
