New issue 940 by gears.team.ace: Unit tests hang up on FF3.5 + Leopard

The unit tests don't run to completion on FF3.5 on Leopard. Not sure if
this
goes for Tiger as well as we don't currently have test results for that
platform.
In reproducing the failure, I've found that the tests don't always hang up
in
the same spot, which seems odd.
Issue goes back to when FF3.5 was added to the test matrix.
