Had the same issues when trying chrome's built-in gears two or three weeks
ago, so I
think it's a general problem. I copied the text of all messages in the
outbox to
clipboard and re-sent them after disabling gears and deleting the gears
data, so no
mail was really lost (but delayed, and the receiving person would not know
I had sent
it earlier but it didn't work). Still not the thing I'd like to experience.
Would be OK if we had a working html5 solution already, but till it's here
I want a
working gears :-(
