Comment #76 on issue 980 by beurtheretcedric: Gears is not working with Firefox 3.6
http://code.google.com/p/gears/issues/detail?id=980

We had some problem with an application on Safari/Snow Leopard and Apple didn't do anything to help us to fix the problem. On Firefox 3.5/3.6 and Opera 10 we have no
problem. I think Apple isn't very helpful in case of problems.

Gears works fine on FF 3.0/3.5, and other supported browsers (IE6/7/8, ...). It 's not an official release, but beta one. So let them fix the problems with FF 3.6 (wich
came out less than one month).
Safari is HTML5 compliant (Local Cache for offline application, Web SQL Database, WebWorkers,...) and Gears was only expected to give opportunities for older browsers
to have same features.
I think if Mozilla had supported Web SQL database in Firefox 3.6 Gears was not
usefull in this version.

So bee Cool and wait or try to help.
