I met the same error in my Chromium (4.0.265.0/33933) on windows7, even
with a re-
installed version cleaning the Gears cache.
It is noted that the offline gmail can be installed/run in my same
windows7 system
with the Chrome release (4.0.249.89/38071).
May I clarify that if the issue still does not work in Chromium? Or there
are some
steps/workarounds to make it work?
