What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1.the indication box to tell me that I do NOT have the program installed...
however it tells me that I DO have it installed
2.the program to appear on my computer's Add or Remove Programs list..which
it is not
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
-Installed:Never installed
-Operating System: Windows XP SP3(just reinstalled onto the computer
yesterday)
-Browser: Chrome version 10.0
