I understand, but there is a considerable risk here to all parties involved. The reason why we want to be in control of this is because we want to be able to fix asap any bugs or any other type of issues that may creep up in a certain release. We currently don't have any other mechanism to notify our users that they need an update, so it would be difficult for you to know when you need to push an update. If you were to block our update mechanism, you'd be completely on your own. Furthermore, since one of the modules (Geolocation) contacts a Google service, we would be at risk as well if there was a serious bug there. Thanks, Andrei
