Someone told me Offline Gmail is what all the cool kids are doing now, so I did another gears build (kudos to jaduncan and everyone else who stepped up to host new bins, but I personally don't trust random Internet folks' binaries anymore). If the Ubuntu-built stuff doesn't work for you, you can try http://www-personal.umich.edu/~swolchok/gears/gears-linux-opt-0.5.11.0.xpi . Built with Debian Lenny (testing) with the xulrunner-1.9-dev package bins copied to third_party/gecko_1.9/whatever/lib/ and using the latest 64 bit patch from http://code.google.com/p/gears/issues/detail?id=335&q=64-bit&colspec=Version%20Milestone%20Owner%20ID%20Summary%20Component .
