[gears-users] How to sync

Please could any one explain me how automatic syncing happen.Lets say
i have some data in my local db that was filled by user when
offline.Now the user is online,then how can an automatic sync happen
so that all entries in my local db flow to my remote web db.Any link
to a example will be really helpful.
