1. Quit Safari.
   2. In Finder, open your *Applications* folder.
   3. Open the folder named *Utilities*.
   4. Open *Terminal*.
   5. In Terminal, enter the following command (including the quotes):
'/Library/Internet
   Plug-Ins/Gears.plugin/Contents/Resources/uninstall.command'
   6. Press *Enter*.
   7. Enter your password when prompted.

Step number 4 is not avail... i followed the dir and up to internet plug-ins
after that there is nothing gears.
The settings are in safari but if i try to install offline it says i need to
upgrade.
