I am trying to download gears onto my laptop and it tells me this
"Cannot download the application. The application is missing required
files. Contact application vendor for assistance"
Under details it explains,
"ERROR SUMMARY
Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed
later in the log.
* Activation of C:\Documents and Settings\Laptop\Desktop
\GoogleInstaller_en.application resulted in exception. Following
failure messages were detected:
+ Downloading file:///C:/Documents and Settings/Laptop/Desktop/
clickonce_bootstrap.exe.manifest did not succeed.
+ Could not find file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Laptop\Desktop
\clickonce_bootstrap.exe.manifest'. "
Of course, I searched for some sort of "contact" to the so-called
"vendor" and there are only FAQs, and of course this Google Group.
So can someone tell me what I might have done wrong? What is missing?
How to I retrieve this missing item?
