Hi, We are using gears captureblob function to save attachments offline. We are using urlencode to encode the url. When I try to open the attached file, the file name in the open file dialog shows the name truncated and garbled for Japanese files. For English, it gets truncated as well, but at the beginning stating with "...". FOr Japanese, it does not start with ... but the characters get garbled before "." and get truncated. File content loads fine.
Anyone seen this before? Any idea on how to fix it? I have tried using utf7 and utf8 coding in reponse.addheader In the local folder I see tha the file name gets stored as %e3%83%a0%e7%ae%a1%e7%90%86[224776].xls as opposed to actual japanese file name. Please help! Thanks!
