Hey all,
I have a Gears application running in a WAN behind proxies. We have
install problems. I think I identified one, you can not have a proxy
exception 'too*'. Then I seem to have a problem with IE6. Using IE6
Gears install fails most of the time. Why I do not know. My users are
spread all over the world in different environments, its very hard for
me to debug failures.
If anyone knows how the install procedure works PLEASE answer or point
me to detailed information.
If someone out there have a standalone installer publish it, PLEASE!
I'm not alone, there is a lot of post about install problems behind
proxies/firewall.
I googled 'gears install proxy problem' and got 27500 hits.
