Hey all,

I'm using the Gears API 1.2 for GWT. I've got a weird problem when I
attempt to put a shortcut on the desktop. I do the vanilla
Factory.getInstance().createDesktop().createShortcut( "My Shortcut",
"index.html", myDesktopIcons ); and it looks like it puts the icons on
the desktop properly; however, the target in the link is:

"'C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin\javaw.exe'
http://localhost:8888/com.hs.app.Application/index.html";

Which, I mean, is really weird. (This happens in the Hosted Mode IE6)
Why is it appending the Java runtime path?

Is this somehow related to my odd "Gears has detected an
incompatibility with another program. Your web applications may not
work correctly until you resolve it." (Which does not seem resolvable
at all)

Also, I apologize if this is the wrong group. Any tips are much
appreciated!

Thanks!

Evan
