The subject pretty much describes it. FF also hangs when trying to enable offline gmail, when I press ctrl+shift+esc a gears dialogue asking me to enable something in the settings shows (yeah, I found it hard to believe but I have duplicated it twice), but FF hangs when I try to access gears settings. Disabled all extensions and removed and reinstalled gears, nothing's changed.
