Hey,

I'm currently developing a application that uses a simple page to send
the latitude and longitude to a server. A servlet responds by
displaying the coordinates that it received.

Problem is, that when I visit the page from an emulated windows mobile
device, the dialog box that asks you to allow gears on the page pops
up and all that shows is a horizontal yellow line and two small blank
buttons where the "Allow" and "Deny" should have been.

Regardless of the blank buttons, clicking on the button on the left
(the Allow button) does not do anything. The only way to exit the
dialog box is clicking the back button on the phone's keypad, which
essentially denies gears from running on that page. As a result, the
servlet responds with null coordinates (obviously :( ).

Is this a problem on actual windows mobile phones as well? Or is it
just an issue with the device emulator? (I am using Microsoft Device
Emulator running the Pocket PC image using the Windows Mobile 5.0 OS)

Is anyone else facing the same problem? Any help would be greatly
appreciated!!

I'm stuck and cannot progress on this project until this issue is
resolved...

Sincerely,
Sid
