The point is they would have to do a new build for each version, not a
new rebuild, ie. from scratch. This avoids the hassle of having to
track build numbers and versions for each build and version of
FireFox, or any other browser. Even a simple bug fix is another
version that needs to be kept track of. As much as I would have loved
to see gears working for each step of the process I do uderstand their
explaination.
