After upgrading Firefox to v3.5, I uninstalled Gears from my add-ons.
On the Google help page about uninstalling Gears, it is stated that
"Uninstalling won't remove any offline information you currently have
on your system."

What I can't find in the help pages is how I might remove the
thousands of e-mails and attachments that Gears has stored somewhere
on my computer (using Mac OS 10.5.7). I don't know how much space this
is using on my HDD, but it is of no use to me since I have uninstalled
Gears.
