my net connection is through a proxy server. all i know about the
server is that it requires authentication. gears installer does not
ask for the user name or password. due to this the online installer of
gears does not work. the net works in the browser as they ask for the
username and password. is there any offline installer for gears? i
mean instead of the installer downloading the required files, i
download them. or just like there are two installers for yahoo
messenger, one online and one offline.
