The Supported Systems section of the Gears FAQ (http://code.google.com/ apis/gears/gears_faq.html#supportedSystems) lists things like "Firefox 1.5 or higher" and "Safari 3.1.1 or higher", but if you actually go to gears.google.com in Firefox 3.5 or Safari 4 you won't be able to install it presumably because the page thinks the browser is too new. If these newer browsers are *not* actually supported yet, please say so in the FAQ. If the newer browser *are* supported, please update the gears.google.com page to allow installing Gears in them.
