Dear Google,

when Firefox 3.5 was available we all updated our browsers and we
received bad news: Gears is broken.
No news from you.
Finally we read somewhere (not from your sites/blogs) that a new
version of Gears was available.
It worked fine until the first security update of Firefox 3.5.1.
Once updated to 3.5.1 Gears is broken (again).
Still no news from you.

Well, I know that is hard to manage big projects, sometimes something
goes wrong.

But you failed on communication: you're leaving your users alone,
without info.
It's not so hard to write (perhaps on gears.google.com) something
like:

Dear users, Gears version X does not work with Firefox version Y.
We are working to the new version than should be released within a
few days/weeks/months.

or

Dear users, a new version of Gears (that works with Firefox version
Y) is available.

It's just one small step for man, a giant leap for mankind.

   Thanks
Vittorio Romano
