I'm sorry, I thought I replied to this last night. > > Can I use one brower, Firefox, to use Gears to access two accounts, > > i.e. a Gmail account, as well as a GoogleApps account? > > I would be interested to know as well. > > > I realise I can use two different browsers, one each for each Gmail > > and GoogleApps account -- however, Safari 4 is not playing nicely with > > Gears, and therefore I want to use Firefox to access Gears on both my > > Gmail and GoogeApps accounts. > > That's sad. Have you tried using Google Chrome ? FWIK it had gears in-built.
I think Safari 4 is Mac only. In any event, I run on a Mac. I have two different FireFox (3.0.12) profiles with gears, as well as Safari (4) with gears. Not only do all of them use Docs offline, one of the FireFox's uses Gmail and Reader offline (as well as Docs). There are "no problems" of any kind. Well, ok, there's one issue. If a file is edited offline, it will be tagged as "Edited Offline". The changes will be synched back up to the Google Server, and show up in the other browsers, but that "Edited Offline" flag never goes away. Firefox 3.5.2 would not work with gears -- at all -- in this setup. (Which reminds me, Google workers asked me to generate and submit a debug log.)
