I've been an Opera user on the desktop since Opera version 5 or so. I'm wondering why I can't use the Gears plugin with Opera, especially noting that Opera Mobile has Gears support, and Opera is listed as an "industry partner" in several of the Google Gears announcements. Is there something special about the plugin that keeps it from working on Opera?
