I noticed that the Gears addon makes the firefox process (in task
manager) to hang when I close firefox. If I try opening firefox again,
another instance of firefox will open and so now I will have 2
instances of firefox in task manager and so on. This usually occurs
whether I choose "Save and Quit" or "Quit" options when closing
firefox. I realized it was this addon because I tried disabling every
addon, and I found Gears to be the culprit. For now I will disable
Gears until notification that it does not do this anymore.
