Many thanks to the both of you. I grabbed Ivan's 32 bit build for use on Linux Mint KDE CE RC1. I rather depend on Gears to decrease the load on my shared server that hosts my WordPress powered sites (used in the WordPress admin). As soon as I installed and enabled it, it picked up the caches for the previous "official" build of 32 bit Gears (0.5.32.0) for both my sites and updated the caches for both when I logged in without a problem.
