Hi, If one is able, through Gears, to access a local SQLite database, then I think it should be possible to make some Gears-like extension for my browser (Mac Safari) that will let me put together and play sequences of musical (midi) notes. Are there APIs for WebKit/Safari that let you develop such extensions, or have the Google developers just made some very clever hacks when they did the Safari Gears?
