WTF is going on with Gears? First of all, according to gmail :
"Which browsers are supported? Offline Gmail works on all browsers supported by Gears (Firefox 1.5+, Internet Explorer 6.0+, and Chrome). You may be able to enable Offline Gmail on Safari if you are running OS X Leopard (version 10.5) or older, but this is not a supported configuration and we suggest using one of the other browsers." However, according to the gears installation page, Chrome is not actually supported. Can someone please update this? And what the fuck is going on with gears? Who is responsible for cleaning up outdated pages that misinform users?
