Yes, this is where the IMAP rework is occurring. The intention is that
this reworked IMAP stack will solve a lot of interoperability problems
that have been reported, in particular with Dovecot, Zimbra, and
Courier.
It's not worth using -- yet. I've made a lot of progress on this
branch and have begun to use it, but I'd prefer people not test against
it until I've done more work on solving some basic up-front issues.
Soon, however, I'd like to open this up to the community and ask people
using other servers to try it out. In order to attack the various
problems I'll need stack traces, network logs, and potentially even
accounts on the servers to debug. But I'm not quite there yet!
I'll announce here when we reach that point.
