Eerst en vooral Johan, hartelijk bedankt om dit helpen op te lossen.
Wat die "externe tool met gui" betreft daar blijf ik echter in het
duister tasten:
Ze spreken wel in de README van unixodbc over "Graphical tools to admin
ODBC, test drivers and browse
data sources" maar waar ik die moet vinden, laat staan hoe ze heten
blijft een misterie:
